Veteran Knits
Join Toni Juneau, a long-time, dedicated leader, and her wonderful group of knitters for an afternoon of connection, creativity, and community.
This group of 10–15 caring women gathers weekly to knit special items that are gifted to Veterans, their spouses, and others during the Christmas season. Each year, packages lovingly prepared by the group are also delivered to Sunnybrook Veterans, ensuring warmth, comfort, and kindness reach those who served.
Whether you’re a seasoned knitter or simply curious, everyone is welcome. Bring your needles, share a story, and become part of something meaningful. Together, we knit not just yarn, but community.

Seniors' Social
At Branch 68, we’re proud to open our doors for a special afternoon once a month dedicated to our community’s seniors. Organized by Paul Thompson, the Seniors’ Social is a wonderful outing where guests are brought to the Legion to enjoy fellowship, laughter, and light snacks lovingly prepared by our Ladies’ Auxiliary. These gatherings are more than just socials, they are a chance to connect, reminisce, and share in the spirit of friendship that makes our Legion the Friendliest Branch Around.
“At Branch 68, we honour our seniors as the storytellers and wisdom-keepers of our community. Every gathering is a chance to show our respect, share a smile, and celebrate the lives that helped shape who we are today.”
