Veteran's Dinner

🇨🇦 Remembrance Day Veterans’ Dinner 🇨🇦

Every November, we gather not only to remember — but to honour.
The Veterans’ Dinner at Branch 68 is more than a date on the calendar; it’s a heartfelt tradition.

It’s the handshake between comrades who’ve shared service and sacrifice.
It’s the quiet nod of respect across the table — the kind that says, “I understand.”
It’s the warmth of community in a room filled with those who have given, served, and stood tall for us all.

On November 11th, we come together to share a meal, to raise a glass, and to remember — not in silence, but in gratitude.
Because remembrance is not only about loss. It’s about continuing the legacy of courage and unity that defines who we are.

Cocktails: 5:30 PM

Dinner: 6:00 PM

Menu:
Garden Salad · Chicken Cordon Bleu · Roasted Potatoes & Vegetables · Apple Pie & Ice Cream, Coffee/Tea

Tickets: $25 per person
Available at the bar starting October 28 — limited number available.

Order of Dress:

Seniors' Social

At Branch 68, we’re proud to open our doors for a special afternoon once a month dedicated to our community’s seniors. Organized by Paul Thompson, the Seniors’ Social is a wonderful outing where guests are brought to the Legion to enjoy fellowship, laughter, and light snacks lovingly prepared by our Ladies’ Auxiliary. These gatherings are more than just socials, they are a chance to connect, reminisce, and share in the spirit of friendship that makes our Legion the Friendliest Branch Around.

“At Branch 68, we honour our seniors as the storytellers and wisdom-keepers of our community. Every gathering is a chance to show our respect, share a smile, and celebrate the lives that helped shape who we are today.”
